 1. Product Pricing

All products and prices including special offers are subject to change or discontinuation without notice. Whilst we try to ensure prices and product information is accurate on our website, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders, (even if the payment has been charged) for goods that have been advertised at an incorrect price, or showing the wrong photograph or description.

 

If we discover any pricing errors before we process your order, you will be notified immediately with the option to re submit your order at the correct price or cancel the order.

 
2. Shipping

Please note: We are unable to supply New Brother Home Sewing products outside the UK, as the warranty on Brother Home Sewing and Embroidery products supplied from the UK, only applies within the UK.
 
You only pay postage on the largest / heaviest item in your cart, irrespective of the number of items in it.
 
This service is to UK mainland destinations, certain destinations are excluded from this service, these are, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Highlands and Islands.
Please use the enquiry form to check charges to these destinations, prior to placing your order.
Our standard shipping charge is £7.50 which covers most small accessory items,  goods are sent by Royal Mail or DHL, delivery is up to 5 working days.
Want it sooner?
We use DHL for next working day deliveries.
You can upgrade to next working day delivery at Check Out.
Place your order Monday to Friday by 3:30pm, orders placed on Friday will be delivered Monday.   
 
Larger / heavier accessories or products incur additional  charges, these items are clearly marked in the item description,
 
Deliveries can be made worldwide, please contact us for carriage charges. 

Where offered, free delivery will be UK mainland only.

 
Industrial machinery is excluded from the above delivery schedules due to size and/or weight restrictions, please use the enquiry form for charges for these items.


We process all our orders very quickly, most items are held in stock, 
Please allow 3 to 7 working days for your order to arrive. 
Some delay may be experienced at peak times, such as Christmas and Bank Holidays.


If the items ordered are in stock, we will normally dispatch on the same day, If your order is urgent please call 0115 9271155 to check availability.
This delivery schedule applies to orders received during weekdays before 3:30pm 
Orders placed during the weekend will normally be dispatched on the Monday 

We want you to be satisfied with your purchases: 
If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return goods within 14 days and receive a refund. 
Returns will only be accepted if you follow the Returns conditions/instructions below within 14 days of purchase. 

CANCELLATION 
Orders can be cancelled up to 12noon on day of order, after this time orders will be shipped. 

RETURN CONDITIONS

THE PRODUCT MUST BE IN ITS ORIGINAL CONDITION AND INCLUDE ALL ORIGINAL PACKAGING MATERIALS and PROMOTIONAL GOODS/OFFERS, WE ARE UNABLE TO REFUND DAMAGED OR USED ITEMS.

Overseas Customers

Whilst this website is designed with UK customers in mind, we welcome enquiries from customers in other countries. Prices include UK Sales Tax (VAT), at the prevailing rate, which may not be payable by some overseas customers; however, additional delivery charges will usually apply. Please telephone or email sales@grain-sewing.com and we will do our best to assist.

 


RETURN INSTRUCTIONS. 
If you wish to return your order/item, remember to re-pack the parcel securely and mail it with insurance cover as we cannot give a refund for returns damaged in transit to us (the safety of your parcel lies between yourself and the service you use to return it to us), then send your parcel to the following address:

Shipping costs are at your own expense, except in instances of receiving a faulty item or an error by Grain Sewing Machines. Where by we will refund the purchase price of the item returned. Your original form of payment will be credited.

About your personal details

We collect customer information in an effort to improve your shopping experience and to communicate with you about our products, services and promotions.

We never store your credit card details that are handled by the secure servers at Paypal where payments are handled.

ALL OUR MACHINES AND ELECTRICAL ITEMS ARE 240v UK MAINS VOLTAGE, UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED 

Making A Purchase could not be easier. 
Just browse our catalogue, and select the items that you wish to buy, they will automatically be placed in your shopping basket. 
After you have finished shopping, click on "Check Out" and you will be directed to the secure area of our site (SSL using 128bit encryption) you can then enter your card details in confidence. 
Cards accepted are Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro and Solo. 

Back Orders: If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. 

Tax Charges: All our prices are inclusive of VAT, unless stated otherwise. 

Guarantee.

All machines come with the standard manufacturers guarantee; all other products are covered by the Sale of Goods Act.

5. Novuna Finance Complaints Policy

On the rare occasion that we do receive a complaint, we take it very seriously. If you are unhappy with the any aspect of the goods you purchased with us you may contact us in any way you prefer. Our contact details are as follows;

If your complaint relates to your finance agreement

If your complaint relates to the finance linked to your purchase you can still let us know about this, but we will forward it on to your credit provider Novuna. Novuna will acknowledge your complaint and investigate it thoroughly and issue their response within eight weeks.


What to do if you can't reach an agreement

If you are not satisfied with Novuna’s response to your complaint relating to the finance agreement, you may be able to refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service. You must contact them within six months of the date of Novuna’s final response letter to you.
